We compare your rank against the most recent closing rank for each branch–college combination, filtered by your category, gender, quota, and home state.
- Safe — Your rank is well below the closing rank window.
- Moderate — Within the typical year-to-year variance.
- Dream — Above closing rank but still within reach in a lucky year.
Confidence scoring blends historical cutoff variance, round number, and category-specific trends to give a 0–100 score per match.
Extensibility
The data schema is normalized so additional counselling systems (CSAB, state-level counselling, IIIT-PPP) can be plugged in without changes to the prediction engine.
